«The Desert of Fragmentation» is an oil on canvas measuring 100 x 150 cm.
It was created during the winter of 2018 when the artist, suffering from depression, spent a semester of isolation and introspection in one of the mountains rising from the shores of Lake Como in northern Lombardy, Italy.
The composition of this painting was conceived from the Fibonacci sequence. It is a subject in a cracked (fragmented) desert moving from a piece of Tetris, which represents reason, to an apple, which represents the vitalist current.
